As long as there have been companies, there have been brands. Branding acts as a company's face and sets competitors apart from each other. Not only that, but a brand has highly persuasive effects on consumers, causing them to feel connected to certain companies.
Some brands have been around forever and have become iconic in our culture...
Just some examples. (Of course one of them is fast food.)
But branding has completely changed in the past decade. The rise of social media changed the way consumers operate, and brands that are slow to change will be left behind. In this blog, I'll explore how those old brands that our parents and grandparents grew up with are getting involved in the digital world to cater to a new generation.
